LATPRO
IRC 2000
LatPro
IRC 2000 follows the International Residential Code 2000 to structurally
engineer buildings for wind and seismic loads. LatPro IRC allows
you to quickly model homes and define their lateral restraint systems
without lengthy calculations.
Features:
- Calculates
braced wall line required lengths and on center distances directly
from the IRC code references. Based on wind and seismic data, LatPro
IRC will make sure your building is IRC 2000 compliant.
- Save time
with LatPro IRC's inline error checker which will immediately notify
you of any design mistakes as you make them.
- A design interface
which allows you to see every gridline and wall that you define.
Integration with the error checker allows you to quickly find any
braced wall lines that don't have the required bracing or on center
distances. This simplified design interface allows you to quickly
replicate a building from your floor plans without recreating every
little detail.

- Designs cripple
walls and alternate strengthened panels. All bracing adjustments
are made based on building information such as number of floors
and seismic design categories.
- Roof load
and wall load are also analyzed and requirements are adjusted per
requirement. If you have a certain amount of load, LatPro will automatically
adjust the required bracing for that amount.
- Output allows
you to print out a building report ready for review. Various printing
options allow customize the information on your print out.
- An active
help screen describes all the fields and operations of LatPro, eliminating
a long learning curve.
- Models structures
up to 3 stories tall plus a cripple wall story.
